The flowers are blooming, the days are getting longer, and Easter is just around the corner. I’ve always loved this time of year - it’s like the world shakes off the winter blues and wraps itself in soft pastels. Honestly, nothing says Easter quite like a fresh manicure.

I’ve been tinkering with some gorgeous Easter nail designs, and I’ve rounded up 10 of my absolute favourites that I think you’ll love too. They're fun, fresh and surprisingly easy to recreate.

If you’re wondering why I’m so obsessed with Easter nail designs this year, it’s because I’ve got a family brunch coming up, and I want my nails to steal the show. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle while passing around the hot cross buns? So, if you love a bit of sparkle with your springtime style, grab a cuppa, and let’s get into these ideas.

1. Pastel Bunny Tips - Because Who Can Resist Those Ears?

First up, let’s talk about pastel bunny nails. Picture this: soft pink or lilac nails with a tiny white bunny face on the tip of each one - little ears sticking up like they’re hopping right off your fingers. I tried this last weekend, and I’ll be honest, I couldn’t stop staring at my hands. It’s ridiculously cute.

Start with a pastel base - I went for a baby pink because it felt so like Easter. Then, outline the bunny's face with white, use a fine brush to dot on the bunny face and a pink triangle for a nose, and a couple of white and pink flicks for ears. If you’re feeling fancy, add a touch of glitter to the ears. It’s one of those Easter nail designs that looks tricky but really isn’t - promise.

I think this one’s perfect if you’re heading to an egg hunt or just want something subtle but playful. Have you ever tried drawing tiny animals on your nails? It’s oddly therapeutic.

2. Speckled Egg Nails - Like a Mini Easter Egg Hunt on Your Fingertips

Next up, speckled egg nails. These are inspired by those little chocolate eggs with the candy shells - you know the ones I mean? They’ve got that speckled look that just screams Easter. I saw a photo of this design online and thought, “I need that in my life.”

You’ll want a pale blue, lavender or mint green base - something that looks like a robin’s egg. Then, grab a toothpick or a dotting tool and flick on some brown or black polish for the speckles. It’s messy, but that’s the point! I got a bit carried away and ended up with polish on my table, but it was worth it. These Easter nail designs have a rustic charm that I’m obsessed with.

This one’s great if you’re after something a bit artsy but not over-the-top. Plus, it pairs so well with a spring dress. What do you reckon - too messy for you, or just right?

3. Glittery Easter Eggs - For When You Want to Sparkle

If you’re anything like me, you love a bit of sparkle. So, let’s talk glittery Easter eggs. This design’s all about painting tiny egg shapes on your nails and then adding glitter polish. I did this for a girls’ night out, and everyone kept grabbing my hands to get a closer look.

Start with a an Easter coloured base - and then use a thin brush to draw little egg shapes in bright colours like yellow, pink, and blue. Once they’re dry, slap on a layer of glitter polish. It catches the light like nobody’s business. These Easter nail designs are definitely for the bold.

I think this one’s perfect for an Easter party or if you just want to feel extra festive.

4. Floral Accents - Springtime in Full Bloom

Okay, let’s slow things down a bit with some floral accents. Easter’s all about renewal, right? So, I figured flowers belong on this list. This design’s more subtle than the others - just a nude or pale pink base with tiny daisies or tulips on one or two nails per hand.

I tried this one with a nude polish I’ve had forever, and then used a dotting tool to add little white petals and yellow centres for daisies. It took a few tries - I’m no Picasso - but it ended up looking so delicate and pretty. These kinds of Easter nail designs are great if you want something understated but still tied to the season.

5. Chick and Egg Combo - Too Cute to Handle

Now, this one’s a bit of a faff, but hear me out: chick and egg nails. I saw something like this on Pinterest and thought, “That’s next-level adorable.”

For the chick, I used a bright yellow polish on the entire nail. Next paint the white shell with a nail art brush and once dry outline the 'crack' in the shell in black. Finally once dry add the chick's eyes and a small sweetheart pink nose. It's one of those Easter nail designs that makes people go, "Aww!", when they see it.

I’ll be honest, my first attempt looked more like a blob than a chick, but practice makes perfect, right? This one’s a winner if you’ve got kids around - they’ll love pointing out the little chick on your nails.

6. Ombre Pastels - A Gradient Dream

If you’re into something a bit more modern, try ombre pastel nails. Think soft pink fading into lavender or mint green into pale yellow. It’s like a sunrise on your nails, and it’s so easy to do with a makeup sponge.

I did this a couple of weeks ago, and I’m still not over how pretty it looked. Just paint your base colours onto the sponge, dab it onto your nail, and blend until it looks seamless. Add a glossy top coat, and you’re golden. These Easter nail designs are perfect if you want something chic.

I wore this to a spring wedding, and it matched my dress perfectly. Have you tried ombre nails before? It’s less intimidating than it looks, I swear.

7. Polka Dot Eggs - Simple But Oh-So-Festive

Polka dots are my go-to when I want something quick but cute, so naturally, I had to include polka dot egg nails. Paint your nails a solid pastel colour - lavender works great - and then use a dotting tool to add little contrasting dots to make them look like mini Easter eggs.

I did this in about 20 minutes before heading out to a family dinner last year, and it got so many compliments. It’s one of those Easter nail designs that’s foolproof - even if you’re rubbish at nail art, you can’t really mess up dots.

This one’s a lifesaver if you’re short on time but still want to look festive.

8. Carrot Patch Nails - Unexpected But Adorable

Fingernails with orange carrot-themed nail art, featuring green tops and white dots, set against a close-up of skin.

Okay, this one’s a bit quirky, but I love it: carrot patch nails. Picture orange for a carrot with tiny white spots with little green flicks for the carrot tops. I did this as a joke last Easter, and it ended up being my favourite design of the day.

It’s not as polished as some of the others, but that’s what makes it fun. I used a glossy orange for the carrots to make them pop. These Easter nail designs are perfect if you want something a bit offbeat.

I think this would be hilarious for an Easter egg hunt - fits the whole garden vibe, doesn’t it? What do you think - too weird, or just weird enough?

9. Cross and Lilies - For a Touch of Tradition

A hand with an Easter nail design showing intricate nail art featuring leaves and a gold cross on white nails, surrounded by white lilies and a candle in a soft setting.

Easter’s got its roots in tradition, so I wanted to include something with a bit more meaning. This design’s simple: a white base with a small gold cross on one nail and tiny lilies on another. It’s elegant without being overdone.

I used a gold striping tape for the cross - it’s easier than painting it freehand - and then added little white petals with green centres for the lilies. It’s one of those Easter nail designs that feels special, you know? Like you’re carrying a bit of the season’s heart with you.

If you’re into something more symbolic, this might be your vibe.

10. Rainbow Stripes with a Bunny Accent - All the Easter Feels

Last but not least, rainbow stripes with a bunny accent. Paint each nail with thin pastel stripes - pink, blue, yellow, the works - and then add a little bunny silhouette on one nail for that Easter touch. It’s bright, it’s cheerful, and it’s basically spring in nail form.

I did this with a striping brush, and yeah, it took some patience, but the result was so worth it. It’s one of those Easter nail designs that makes you smile every time you look at your hands.

This one’s perfect for anyone who wants to go all-out for Easter. I mean, why not? It’s the one time of year we can go wild with pastels and not look out of place.
